60 days to go

I was bored to death and thought that today might be the best day to start this. Since it's just 60 days to the big day.

Now I'm not going to blog every day, even if i promise that to myself. So I'm not going to promise anything for now, just hope for the best. I'm not really the determined type when it comes to these things.

I thought it would be the best to explain the whole story from the beginning to this point.

In spring of 2012 yes, last year me and a dear friend of mine were really bored of our lives, and wanted to do something cool and different. So we started to look for summer jobs. We didn't get any, probably since we were both 16 and it was sort of late in the spring and there were two of us and and and... Seriously, even I wouldn't have hired us.

But I was not going to be let down. In the autumn of 2012 I sent an email to an address that belonged to a specific persons PA, and the response was something like "dude, you're early. Chill and catch me up in the spring.". So in January which is spring enough for me, that's for damn sure! I sent another email, and after a little bit of emailing around, I was told to call the real, the one, Mr. Cian o'Connor. Oh yes. My pal Cian.

He was cool. And by cool I mean that he sounded like a person with a brain but still a sense of humour. Which was cool. And the call lasted for about 20 seconds and in that time we had agreed that I'll just book the flight and they'd send someone to pick me up at the airport. And that I'd work, get an apartment kind of a thing to live in and one meal/work day. And that they'd give me lessons. Not sure what he meant by "them" but... Still pretty awesome.

It didn't take long for me to book the flight and realise that shit I've got a lot of money to save. The saving's going alright though, I'm working my butt off at the moment which sucks but it's for a good cause... Although I'd appreciate having a life sometimes. So it's still around 600-800€ to go but that won't be too hard!

I'm leaving Finland on 31st of May at 17.10. and will be in Ireland at 18.30. or something. Can't wait! There is also a date for my farewell party yay 

The next time I blog will probably be in May unless something unexpected/cool/different/special happens to happen.
